This was my Gold Demon winning entry at Baltimore 2005 in the 40k Single category. Both 2nd and 3rd places were sword winners from last year so it was a very tough category! It was my first experiment with the GW plastics, and they were a pleasure to work with. Lots of people have made comments about the torso twist, saying that it would be impossible to turn that way. I actually posed myself and had my wife take a picture so I could get it right, but as was pointed out on bolter and chainsword by a couple of people, what I didn't do well (at all really) was model the turning correctly. Had I done that it would have been much more believable.
