Joan of Aquitaine
(2nd Place - Silver Demon Fantasy Single Miniature Canadian Golden Demons 2004)

Thanks to Zach Lanier for contributing. (Golden Demon Winning Painter 04,05,06,07 Baltimore & Canada in 2004) Zach's website can be found at www.crookedeye.net

This was my Silver Demon winner in the fantasy single category from the Canadian Golden Demons in 2004. This was my first real conversion work, I redid the neck, right arm, some of the shields and decorations and of course the head was from another miniature from the Mordheim range. I sculpted the hair and a few other details too. When my ceiling collapsed the miniature was broken badly and I had to resculpt the nose, arm, hair, and part of the horse. I do love the idea behind this piece though, it's one of my favorites.
