Ogryn Conversion
A very special thanks to Sebastian Archer for contributing to our site. Sebastian has won four 1st Place Golden Demons since 2005 and his work is an inspiration to painters all over the world.
This is a commission project doing at the moment. I'm in the middle of painting it right now, but I thought you might like to have a look at the conversion first - the painting should be finished in the next week or two.
Initially, I was asked to create a sort of 40k 'grey knight ogryn' using one of the fantasy ogres. After a lot of discussion with the client about how the mini should look, the equipment/weapons etc., and the overall feeling that we should be going for, this became more of an inqusitor retinue type ogryn, which gave me a bit more freedom hehe
It's a pretty major conversion, so it was quite a lot of work I have to say!
